Megabus driver is STABBED while parked in Cardiff City Centre

A Megabus driver has reportedly been stabbed while parked within the centre of Cardiff at around 2pm this afternoon.

Richard Jones posted on Twitter at 2.39pm “@megabusuk my bus back to London has been cancelled. The driver has been stabbed”

Reports emerged that the driver of the popular megabus.com company was ‘stabbed’ on social media earlier today following an incident within Cardiff City Centre.

Details of this incident are still coming in to us at this moment in time.

A spokesperson for megabus.com said, “One of our drivers was taken to the hospital following an incident in Cardiff city centre this afternoon. Our first thoughts are for the welfare of the employee involved”.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police told us that, “Officers were called to reports of an assault on Ffordd y Brenin (Kingsway), Cardiff, at 2.22pm on Thursday (November 15). One man has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales for treatment. A man in his 30s has been arrested, and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”
